Wednesday, November 4, 2026 | 7:30 PM
Gorton Center · Lake Forest, Illinois
Join Avant Symphony for an evening of orchestral music that brings together contemporary creativity and timeless classical works at the Gorton Center in Lake Forest.
Led by Mina Zikri, Conductor, and featuring guest pianist Pratyay Rao, the program presents three distinctive musical works: Thomas Nickell’s Unstuck in Time, Bortkiewicz’s Piano Concerto No. 2, and Beethoven’s celebrated Symphony No. 7.
From the expressive melodies of the piano concerto to the vibrant energy of Beethoven’s symphony, each performance offers something special. Together, these works celebrate the beauty, emotion, and enduring power of live orchestral music.
Whether you are a longtime classical music enthusiast or simply curious to experience something new, we warmly invite you to join us for a memorable evening.
